Poor girl is in news for all the wrong reasons. She was seen on all major television channels beating up a Telugu TV journalist along with her father and brother. Consequently, she landed herself in jail.

The incident happened late afternoon yesterday, the threesome was arrested by the Gandhinagar Police and released later.

Aditi was taking part in the wedding ceremony of her elder sister and actor Aarti Agarwal. It is said that a formal case has been booked on all the three involved.

It was initially reported that it was a non-bailable warrant and that they would be kept in jail for at least a fortnight.

But the latest on the case is that the said television channel would be withdrawing the case as Aarti’s family had said sorry to the reporter involved in the ruckus.

It is being said that the poor reporter had to face the consequence of some earlier reports that were aired about Aarti Agarwal’s attempted suicide some time back by the channel.

Allu Arjun’s new film has completed 50 per cent of the talkie part. Bommarillu Bhaskar is the director and Dil Raju is the producer. The title Romeo is in consideration and a final decision will be taken shortly.

Sheela is the female lead and Mani Sarma, the music director.

The film will hit screens in January.

Chennai, Nov 24 Superstar Kamal Haasan and Hindi actor-director Sarika’s daughter, Shruti, is all set to make her debut as an actor opposite matinee idol Madhavan in a Tamil movie not titled as yet.

Shruti, with special interest in music, has sung and written songs for films, after completing her course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood.

She has done a playback number for a dance item by Mallika Sherawat in ‘Dasavataram’, a film being made by Kamal Haasan.

Nishikant Kamath may direct the Madhavan-starrer, for which the 21-year-old Shruti has been signed. It is likely to be produced by Gnanam Films.

Scenes involving Madhavan and Shruti are expected to be shot in Jan 2008.

Shruti’s much-awaited independent debut music album may be released before the shooting for the film starts.

Superstar Rajnikant made a surprise visit to the sets of Vishnu’s current film being directed by P Vasu of Chandramukhi fame. He came down to the film’s shooting at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Rajnikant, a close friend of Mohan Babu, greeted the latter on the completion of 32 years as actor. Mohan Babu completes 32 years in the film industry on November 22, 2007.

Later Rajni interacted with Nagarjuna too. Nag is playing guest role in the movie. He also chatted with the film’s director, hero Vishnu and other unit members.

NTR and director S S Rajamouli’s socio-fantasy, Yamadonga, turned out to be biggest grocer so far this year. The film not only resurrected NTRs career and brought smiles on to his lips, it also successfully completed 100 days on November 22nd. In 57 centers, it completes 100 days in direct and in another four theatres on shift basis.

Director Rajamouli expressed his joy. “This is first film on our production banner - Viswamitra Creations and it successfully completed 100 days. The film proved once again that our combination - NTR and mine - is very fruitful one,” he said.

It’s good news for Megastar Chiranjeevi fans. Soon he can be seen in a new avatar, the unseen! Yes Chiru can be seen in an animation film in the near future. An NRI fan of his is planning to make film on Chiranjeevi in animated format.

For this he already readied the budget and other essentials it seems. If this film takes off Chiranjeevi will be the only star from India who is featured in an animation film after Rajanikanth. Sultan, an animated film with Rajni is almost completed and is set to release in next summer. This film is produced by Rajni’s daughter Soundarya. So after Sultan it is going to be Chiru’s animation film to hit the theatres. Both the heroes are from South and this is definitely special news for South Indian cine buffs.

Ram Charan’s first film Chiruta recently completed fifty days run and it is well known that this film is shot at Bangkok. A major schedule for Chiruta took place in Bangkok and the next hero to go there is NTR.

It’s Lawrence Raghava’s second directorial venture with Nag, after Mass. He not only directs, but also scores music. If the music clicks, it would definitely be a field day for Lawrence, who makes his debut as music director too. Plus, the film is set for release on December 20 - the sentimental date of Nag, …cause on the same date his film Manmathudu was released.

Dr Mohan Babu has just played Yama in Yamadonga. Now, he will be playing Sai Baba in a special role in Vishnu’s forthcoming film.

He has said that it will be a small role towards the end of the film. However, he was excited beyond doubt to be seen as Sai Baba.

He said that his production house had also entered into television production and that it was doing rather well.

It was their intention to expand into various media activities it was disclosed. Already, Vishnu had recently started an animation house to do production work for other clients.
