Wonder why you do not get to see too much of Anushka these days in Hyderabad. The ravishing actress is in Russia, shooting for her upcoming film. Ravi Teja is playing the lead in the film being produced by Suresh Babu.

Uday Sahnkar is directing the yet-to-be-named film. The yoga-teacher turned actress has made quite a name for herself in the industry, flaunting her fabulous curves.

Besides, Anushka has also been signed up to play the lead in two more films, one opposite Venkatesh and the other with Gopichand. Incidentally, she has enjoyed BO success with both the co-stars and the signs look promising already.

Gopichand and Anushka are starring as hero and heroine for another flick that was formally launched on April 18th in Hyderabad, this is second flick for the same combination before they starred for the flick ‘Lakshyam‘. Shiva is going to direct this flick and producer a realtor turned producer V Anand Prasad. Muhruath shot was on Gopichand and Poonam Kaur, clap was done by D Suresh Babu and Anand Babu switched on camera. Music of flick is composed by Mani Sharma.

The Bangalore beauty, Anushka who gave successes like ‘Vikramarkudu’, and ‘Lakshyam’ which were small budget films, does not seem to have the same luck when it comes to big-budget films. ‘Swagatham’ and ‘Don’ her big banners have failed at the box office and her performance too in these films has received flak. The actress now is all set to amend her folly and get a taste of success and the first step towards growth that the actress has taken is to cut her remuneration by almost half. Well, hope the actress doubles her acting prowess too in her new projects.

Anushka, Ravi Teja & Sunil are working for a film that is produced by Suresh productions under the direction of Udayshankar ( Kalisundam Raa).

The shoot is progressing on the banks of Godavari River in East Godavari district. There is a scene where Anushka has to push hero Ravi Teja & Sunil in to the Godavari from the banks of Godavari.

So the director selected two dupes for this purpose, and Anushka pushed these two dupes in to the river. But only Sunil dupe came out and Ravi Teja’s dupe washed away in the Godavari floods and it is heard that he was dead. (The dupe name is Mahendra).

The film unit packed up immediately from there.

The people who were watching the shoot brought the entire issue in to the notice of Purishotham Patnam police and Police filed murder case on Anushka. This incident took place today, 16th March.

Ravi Teja and Anushka will now be acting together in the yet-to-be titled film of Uday Shankar for Suresh Productions. K M Radhakrishna will be composing the music for the film.

Uday Shankar had earlier made a film for Suresh Babu and their association had started then. Starting tomorrow, the lead pair will be shooting in Hyderabad as a part of a 90-day schedule.

The first day will be shot at a house in the city, and from day after tomorrow, the shooting will be done at the Nanakramguda Ramanaidu Studios.

The film is likely to be released either in April or May.
