Cine hero Nandamuri Balakrishna is formally launching his political journey, first time during N Chandrababu Naidu’s regime from Krishna district on Sunday by unveiling his father’s statue.

Early this week, his brother and TDP Rajya Sabha member N Harikrishna toured in Kankipadu and Vuyyuru areas of Krishna district and enthused the local TDP cadre. This would be followed by Harikrishna’s visit to G Konduru on Sunday.

This is first time Balakrishna is coming to the district to make a political speech in recent years, and particularly after the recent announcement of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu that NTR’s sons and grandsons would campaign for the party in the next general elections.

Balakrishna would unveil a statue of NTR at G. Konduru, besides addressing a gathering there. The TDP district leadership is making hectic arrangements to make his visit a grand success.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Sadhu with director Gunashekar and producer MS Raju will go on floors from 10th May.

Gunashekar who is known for high budget with huge technical values is going to make the film in similar lines of his own style. It is going to be a big Mass film for NBK.

Balayya is doing Pandurangadu with K Raghavendar Rao and that film is likely to hit the screens by the end of May.

Balayya fans are expecting a film like Samarasimha Reddy, Narasihma Naidu etc. and Gunashekar is likely to fulfill the NBK fan’s desire with Sadhu.

Director Sreenu Vaitla had brought several successful films like ‘Venky‘ and ‘Dubai Seenu‘ with Raviteja, and ‘Dhee‘ with Vishnu in the lead. Somehow, his film ‘Andarivadu‘ with Chiranjeevi failed to reach expectations. Presently Sreenu Vaitla is busy directing Ram of ‘Jagadam‘-fame and Genelia starrer, ‘Ready‘ (Denikaina) being produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore on the banner of Sri Sravanthi Movies. According to Film Nagar sources, Sreenu Vaitla is all set to direct Balakrishna for his forthcoming movie to be produced by S Krishna Prasad on the banner of Sridevi Movies. It is worth mentioning here that earlier too, Balakrishna played hero for Vamsanikokkadu and Aditya 369 on the same banner. Presently Balakrishna was also occupied with ‘Pandurangadu‘ being directed and produced by K Raghavendra Rao. As per the sources, shooting may start in December.

Director VV Vinayak will direct NTRjr and the film will be launched formally on 23rd April in Hyderabad. Kodali Nani and Vishnu are jointly producing the film. Producers are planning a big ceremony on the launching day.

NBK will attend as Chief Guest for this opening ceremony and clap the first shot on NTRjr.

NTRjr and NBK are moving very close after Chandrababu arranged the dinner meet among the Nandamuri family.

NTRjr’s film regular shoot will begin from June. Trisha and Ileana are likely to be roped to play female lead roles.

Chakri may get the chance to tune the film.

Balakrishna began 2008 on a poor note. His much awaited ‘Okkamogadu’ proved to be a box office disaster. The film also proved to be one of the biggest flops in the career of Balakrishna.

The latest we hear from filmnagar that NTR who was invited for the lunch by Chandrababu and for Sriramanavami by NBK have discussed about the present political situation in the state and the role of Nandamuri family to bring back the TDP in to the government.
But NTRjr has expressed his conditional support to Babu.
The conditions are:-

1. That his mother must be given equal importance like any other Nandamuri family women, then only he will support TDP. She should be invited for the functions that take place in Nandamuri family.
2. It is rumored that NTR said ‘ Intlo Subha Karyalaki avasaram leni vaadini, ippudu Politics ki avasaram vachchana?
3. So far, only NTRjr is invited for the functions in the Nandamuri family, even that invitation is not for all the function.
4. NTRjr who attended the engagement function NBK’s daughter left the place with couple of minutes.
5. It was also rumored that Kalyanram insulted NTRjr by passing a comment in that engagement function- ( Eanedhuku vachchadu engagement ki- why did he (NTR)come for engagement)
6. NTR didn’t attend the marriage of NBK’s daughter with babu’s son Lokesh
7. NTR is closely moving with Bunny and some industry people foresee that NTR may bend towards Chiru, if there is no proper response from Nandamuri family.
8. It is also heard that Chandrababu is keeping NTRjr away from Nandamuri family purposely-NTRjr wants to utilize the situation to get the importance to his mother in Nandamuri family.

Director K Raghavendar Rao who is directing and producing the film Pandurangadu is going to make the table profit of Rs 6 crores from his film with Balakrishna.
Though Balakrishna’s earlier films were flops at Box office, Balakrishna films are in good demand at the box office irrespective of their result at the box office.
Now a Mumbai based corporate company has bagged the AP distribution rights by paying Rs22 Crores. (Balakrishna’s Okkamagadu was sold for Rs26 crores by YVS).
So K Raghavendar Rao is likely to make the table profit of Rs 6 crores from this film Pandurangadu.
