Cosmos Entertainments & future films is making a bilingual film with Charmy in the lead role. The young director Prabhu Salman is directing the film.
The second schedule of the film was started on 20th April and will continue till the entire film shoot is completed.
Hero Arvind, Charmy, Kota, Jayaprakash Reddy, Manorama are participating in the shoot.
The film is likely to be titled as `16- Days‘
Bhale Dongalu is the film that is starred by Tarun ,Ileana. Charmy is playing an item song for the film by charging Rs25 lakhs to the producer.
K Vijaya Bhaskar is directing the film. Shakamuri Panduranga Rao is producing the film and Bellamkonda is presenting the film.
KM Radhakrishna is composing the music.
Jagapathi is playing very special role of Police officer.
The film’s shoot is almost completed and the producer is planning to release on 4th April.
The Income Tax sleuths, led by additional director, investigation, Aparna Rao, conducted raids on prominent film personalities of Tollywood at around 6.30 am. They include Dil Raju, Maheshbabu, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Charmme. It is learnt that the IT officials conducted raids as they did not show proper details about their income and expenditure and also about their properties. It is worth mentioning here that all the above film personalities gave big hits in recent times.
While Dil Raju had hits like ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Happy Days’, Maheshbabu had notable hit like ‘Pokiri’, SS Rajamouli had produced and directed a blockbuster like ‘Yamadonga’, Vinayak gave a hit through ‘Krishna’ and Charmme had also a hit film in her kitty like ‘Mantra’. Assuming that these films made them wealthy but the film personalities did not show proper accounts about the revenue by making huge investments in real estate deals, the IT officials conducted raids and the investigation continued till the last reports came in.
Director Nidhi Prasad (Bagyalakshmi Bumper Draw fame) is coming up with another comedy flick titled Michel Madhana Kamaraju. Srikanth is playing the role of Michel, Prabhudeva is playing the role of Madhan and Sunil is the Kamaraju.
Charmy and Asha Shiny are the female leads for this comedy flick. Though the title appears similar to that Kalmal’s old film, the story is entirely different from that film. The shoot is almost completed and producer is planning to release the film in the coming summer.
Kuchipudi Venkat who is experimenting with a film John Appa Rao 40+ by introducing comedian Krishna Bagawan as hero and Simran as female lead is coming up with another experiment with Red Star.
Kuchipudi Venkat is again experimenting with Red star Narayan Murty as comedy hero. Narayan Murty is known for his serious and red star roles.
To surprise every one, Kuchipudi is roping two beauties- Chramy and Genelia with this young Red Star. The combination itself is creating some sensation in the industry.
The film is likely to be titled as Murthy in USA and major portion of the shoot will take place in USA.
Bellamkonda Suresh is making a film Bhale Dongalu with Traun, Jagapathi Babu and Ileana. K Vijayabhaskar is directing the film.
It is heard that the film is the remake of Hindi film Bounty aur Bubbly. Now the producers are roping Charmy to play the item song Kazarare Kazarare …that was done bb Aishwary Rai in Bunty aur Bubbly.
Producers wanted to go with Mamatha Mohandass for this song, but it is learnt that Mamatha demanded huge remuneration for this film and producers opted Charmy and Charmy is charging Rs23 lakhs for this 6 minutes song. It is the huge amount and it is the first ever a Telugu producer paying that much amount.
This song will be filmed on Jagapathi, Tarun and Charmy.
No, we are not telling the story of Bapu - Ramana’s classic Mutyala Muggu. Sundarakanda’s basic story is similar to that one. The only difference is that the kid here is a full-grown woman called Pinky (Charmee) and it is not entertaining like the original masterpiece.
Sundarakanda is completely out of the sync with the current times. The story, the narration and the language that the characters speak are archaic. From scene one, it lags on and moves on with outdated screenplay.
Allari Naresh plays a journalist who rides on bicycle with a camera on his shoulder and takes photographs. His character is enough to show how old-fashioned the film is. Kota is the only saving grace. Music by Vidyasagar is nothing to rave about. photography by KRK Raju is neat, though. A shot where decreasing of shadow to depict the time passed till the dusk is quite interesting. Background score (not done by Vidyasagar) is good.
Bottom-line
Anyone who respect for Bapu - Ramana, for their great earlier movies, feel disappointed with this old-fashioned flick. Quite boring!

Actor Venkatesh will be pairing up with his Lakshmi costar Charmi for producer N. Srinivas’ ready-for-launch Chintakayala Ravi, to be directed by Yogi. The movie, which has Anushka as the heroine, will start regular shooting from the 18th of this month. Hindi music directors Vishal-Sekhar have been roped in to provide the tunes for this film.
