Varun Sandesh, the Happy Days fame is set to don the lead role in a film to be produced by the reputed production house AVM. The film was launched at a function in Ramanaidu Studios in the city recently.

Vimala Rao, who acted in several Malayalam and Tamil films makes her Telugu debut.

Upbeat over getting to direct a film for AVM, the film’s director Martand K Shankar said that his team would strive to make it a success. He termed the flick a humourous love story.

After Happy Days and Kotha Bangaru Lokam, it’s third film for Varun who did eight films in Malayalam. “This is the first film in Telugu AVM is working for after Gemini,” said producer Saravanan.

It is the 172nd film from the banner. Manisharma is going to score the music. Brahm anandam, Giribabu, Ali, Supreet, Anuhasan, Ramaprabha, Radhakumari, Master Venkatesh will appear in various roles in the film.

Saravanan and MS Guhan are producing the film.

Happy Days Hero Varun Sandesh has signed a film for prestigious AVM productions. Marthand Shankar is making his debut as director. He is the brother of Editor Marthand Venkatesh.

AVM is doing a Telugu film after a long gap.

The film is all set to roll from today. The shoot of the film will be launched today,2^nd May at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad.

Cine maa awards function was held on 22nd March evening at Gachchibowli, Hyderabad.

Music director Mani Sharma is turning producer with a film that is led by Happy Days hero Nikhil ( Rajesh in Happy Days).

And Nikhil has signed handful of films. His second film Ankith, Pallavi & friends is releasing in April.

His another film with producer Giri and new director is already on sets.

And he has signed a another film for Sai Deva productions banner. Balaji Shakthivel of Premiste will direct this bilingual film.

Director Shekar Kammula’s experimented with fresh faces and made a huge hit film happydays. Panel animation Studio is coming up with comic roles of the Happy Day’s characters

On the eve of this, the Panel animation has organized a press meet and it was attended by Rana Daggupati, Shekar Kammula, Nithin Siddham Setty and Rudra Matsa.

Speaking on the occasion, Shekar said ‘Whe I started this film, I never thought of going for animation. The film is a big hit and when Panel animation contacted me for making animated comic roles of the characters in the film, I immediately accepted. It is an innovative idea and I wish all the success for Panel animation team’.

Rana Daggupati (son of Suresh Babu) expressed his happiness being a part of this program.

Panel animation made a comic serial little Pandavas earlier. That was in only English. But this time they are making happy Days in Telugu and English’.

Tamanna, the Mumbai girl came in to lime light in South Indian Film industry with the film happy days of Shekar Kammula, is surely going places after its success.She just turned 18 recently and lot of changes observed in her figure. The actress is flooded with offers and not just from Tollywood. If the grapevine is to be believed, many producers and directors from all over South India liked Tamanna’s performance in the movie. Currently, she is doing Ninna Nedu Repu and Pelli Vaari Illu in Telugu. She has also signed a third film, Ananda Tandavam, which will be directed by Gandhi Krishna.
