Kantri has raised the expectations of the audience to a higher level. The film comes after the super hit socio fantasy of NTR ‘Yamadonga’ directed by SS Rajmouli.

Kantri has a dream combination. Mega producer Ashwini Dutt and Jr. NTR are teaming up with Meher Ramesh and Mani Sarma for the film. The film also stars two beautiful heroines, Hansika Motwni of Desamuduru fame and Tanisha, sister of Kajol.

The film is a complete action thriller with some high voltage drama and fights. Meher Ramesh is a disciple of Puri and has made some hit films in Kannada. The audio is already a big hit. NTR is appearing in a completely different style in the film. He shed a further 8 kilos for his role in the film. His hairstyle, body language and mannerism will all undergo a sees change in the film. The film has many villains including top stars like Prakash Raj, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde and Murali Sharma.

The high voltage action will show NTR fighting for the down trodden and the por. He sends a shiver down the spines of hard core criminals and politicians. He takes on the bad guys single handedly and eliminates everyone who is involved in illegal activities.

The film would be a bit like NTR’s Simhadri – full of action, romance, dances, comedy and also sentiment. The film will also have some dialogues by NTR that refer to his grandfather NT Rama Rao. NTR will also mouth some dialogues in support of the TDP and he will also be shown riding a cycle – the symbol of the TDP. NTR has also lent his voice for a song in the film – the title song – “1 2 3 neno Kantrhi… naku nene Raju manthri…” The song is already rocking the state. The dynamism and energy shown by NTR is said to be like never before in any film. He ha also done some very difficult dance steps and is sure to make his fans very happy with his latest film.

NTR’s Kantri though coming out with not much hype and hoopla it is soon catching up momentum as the release day approaches.

Kantri is all set to hit the theaters on May 9th. The film is releasing with 300 prints all over the world.
The producer of this film Aswini Dutt is known for hyping the films prior to the release. But he had kept mum about Kantri all these days and he says that it is a strategic idea to keep the film in low profile. He is terming Kantri as the film which falls in the league of blockbusters Pokiri and Shiva etc. He says those films released with not much expectations surrounding them and have become industry hits later. Aswini Dutt believes Kantri has all the ingredients to record an industry hit and so he is staying calm about the film.

So according to the producer in one word Kantri is a silent killer.

Ntr latest movie Kantri is getting ready for a grand release on 9th May. It completed its censor work yesterday. The talk is that cinema came out well.

Ntr, Hansika, Tanisha and Prakash Raj are doing the lead roles. Meher Ramesh is directing it and Ashwini Dutt is producing it on Vyjayanthi Movies banner. Mani Sharma scored the music.

The star producer Aswini Dutt made the film Indra with Megastar, B.Gopal directed the film. That film was a big hit on Vyjayanathi banner.

The same banner Vyjayanthi Movies banner made Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari with Megastar and K Raghavendar Rao. That film was a big hit.

Dances in the NTR-Hansika starrer ‘Kantri’ would be a feast for the eyes of the audiences in general and NTR fans in particular. It is learnt that almost all the songs in the film were choreographed with utmost care and in a very different way. In the song ‘Vayassunami…’, NTR could be seen dancing with one leg for more than one minute, which is very rare and novel. Likewise, there is another song, in which the choreographer chose to use the classical dance style for NTR. Being an excellent dancer who learnt classical dance in his childhood, NTR also excelled in that song. There is another in which there is a critical dance was choreographed by the dance master. In that song, the hero had to take a step on the reverse side (back step). It was quite difficult step and NTR, after shedding the weight, was able to do it with a nice effort. However, it is learnt that NTR suffered back pain after the completion of the song forcing him to take rest for a few days. As a whole, the dance lovers could enjoy the dances and the film would definitely attract the youth and mass audiences.
