Tagline:
Nicely packed comedy flick

Strengths: Ravi Teja, Brahmanandam and comedy

Weaknesses: Routine story

Must see scenes:

1. Comedy between Brahmanandam and Ravi Teja

2. Comedy bits in the villan gang

Must avoid scenes: Nothing much to mention

Analysis: It is an out and out comedy flick with very good comedy timing and expressions by the characters. Krishna has a very hillorious first half and a little serious second half with good action sequences. This movie is particularly a good refresher after watching Okkamagadu yesterday. It will surely draw crowds during these Sankranthi holidays. It is a complete entertainer to those audience who watch movies only for entertainment.

Performances: Krishna movie has Ravi Teja as hero whose role is custom made and also tailor made for him. It is a complete mass comedy entertainer and Ravi Teja just lives in the role. His comedy timings and expressions are excellent.

Trisha did a very glamorous role for the first time in Telugu cinema. She proved the fact that she can also go for skin show if necessary. She looks good in the role of a rich man’s sister who falls in love with the hero.

Brahmanandam needs to be applauded here. He did his role with ease and made it in such a way that he brings the whole audience down with laughter. He achieved Guinness Book of Records, if there is anything more than this then i would pray to God that he should get that also. He combined with Ravi Teja created a rib-tickling comedy which will remind us of Dhee movie.

Other characters like Venu Madhav, Sunil, Mukul Dev, Chandra Mohan and others are adequate in their roles.

Music by Chakri looks like he copied from hindi and tamil songs when heard but when seen on screen these songs create a whole new impression because of the taking and dance sequences. They are up to the mark.

Dialogues by Akula Shiva are superb. He timed the comedy dialogues, punches, sattires excellently and made the audience roll with laughter. Akula Shiva is developing with each movie. When compared to Lakshmi and Tulasi he did a better job in Krishna.

Chota K Naidu played jimmics with his camera. He shot Vijayawada in such a way that even the audience of Vijayawada would feel proud of their city seeing the beauty of it like how I felt. He captured Vijayawada in its true beauty and showed it to the viewers. Good work Naidu.

VV Vinayak as the director and screen-player did an excellent job. He should be appreciated first for the issue that he shifted from action genere movie to comedy genere. Though his trade mark vechicle blastings and lengthy chase sequences are present in Krishna, the comedy in this movie dominates every other thing and makes this movie a hit. After the super flop Yogi last year (12-01-2007), VV Vinayak is releasing Krishna exactly after one year (12-01-2008) and is back with a different bang. It was an ugly action flick but this is a beautiful comedy flick. Congrats Vinayak.

Story: Krishna (Ravi Teja) is an educated but un-employed youth of Vijayawada who falls in love with Sandhya (Trisha). She stays with her cousin Babi (Brahmanandam) but is actually the sister of a rich contractor (Shiyaji Shinde). Story shifts from Vijayawada to Hyderabad as heroine moves and along with her hero moves from Vij to Hyd. Here a local rowdy Jatka (Mukul Dev) takes a oath to marry Sandhya and the rest of the story is a tit for tat game between Krishna and Jatka.
