Puri Jagannath’s Tamil Desire

Is Puri Jagannath now interested in making films in Tamil? It seems likely as Puri has given some indications with his acts in the recent past. Puri organized the audio launch function of the Trisha and Prabhas starrer ‘Bujjigadu made in Chennai’ at Andhra club in Chennai.

None other than the Tamil superstar Rajnikanth graced the function and unveiled the audio. Rajni also praised Puri sky high. He said that Puri is one of the best young directors in the industry today. Puri launched the son of Chiranjeevi into films and also Kannada Rajkumar’s son Puneet.

Rajni said that if only he had a son, he would have requested Puri to launch him in films. This high praise naturally drew the attention of many producers in Kollywood. Some are now keen to approach Puri to direct a film for them in Tamil. Tollywood’s loss may be Kollywood’s gain.

He is ‘Six Pack’ director!!!!!!!!!

He is the most successful director of Poori Jagannth who introduced Six Pack body in Tollywood with Desamuduru.

And he is continuing his trend of Six pack for the current film Bujjigadu Made in Chennai.Prabhas will appear in Six Pack body.

And his next film Chachchipothe with his brother will also have the six pack body for Sairam Shankar.

When the same thing was asked to Poori, Poori says ‘ the present generation youth is taking their heroes as role model in their life style and I heard lot of youth are taking care of physical fitness after the release of Desamuduru.

But Six Pack is only part and parcel of film, the six pack itself will not make the film to run.

Puri Vs Chiranjeevi fight?

Puri Jagannath had a difference of opinion with producer Aswinidutt and Mega Star Chiranjeevi during the shooting of Chirutha itself. It is learnt that Puri Jagannath had left the project in the middle for some time and he was somehow pacified by the two to complete the project. In order to please Puri Jagannath, the release of the film was also postponed for several times and released it on Puri Jagannath’s birthday. However, Puri Jagannath is reportedly still in the angry mood. In his latest film ‘Bujjigadu’ (Made in Chennai), there are certain dialogues for Mohanbabu character, which sounds something against Chiranjeevi. Does this mean, Puri Jagannath started an anti-Chiranjeevi campaign?

Puri’s third attempt

Director Puri Jagannath has given several big hits in a very short span. He made many young actors into big heroes. The director is also known for his Midas touch. He also gave a big dream debut for Ram Charan with ‘Chirutha’.

The successful director however has failed miserably when it comes to promoting the career of his younger brother Sairam Shankar. He made a film titled ”143′ with Sairam. But the film was an utter flop.

After some gap, Puri made another attempt. This time he made a film with the help of Dil Raju. The two of them together made the film ‘Hello Premisthara’. This film faced debacle at the box office.

Puri Jagannath is not the one to give up so easily. So he is now making his third attempt to try and make his brother a big star. Puri has now signed up Harish Shankar of ‘Shock fame to direct his brother for a new film. Let us see if Puri succeeds in his third attempt.
