Shooting of Raviteja‘s latest flick, produced by D Suresh Babu on the banner of Suresh Productions is progressing smoothly.

It may be mentioned here that the shooting was delayed due to the unfortunate death of a junior artiste due to drowning in Godavari during the film shooting.

The film is being directed by Udayashankar of ‘Kalisundam Raa‘ fame. Like ‘Krishnavamsi‘ assisting in dance direction for some of the films, it is learnt that Ravibabu had come forward to direct some songs in this film.

It may be mentioned here that the songs on Ravibabu‘s films like ‘Allari‘ are distinct from routine.

Likewise, Radhakrishnan scored tunes for the lyrics, while Manisharma is providing the background score.

The film is evoking good expectations, with a massive combination of two directors, to music directors, big banner and successful hero.

Canning of song is in progress for Raviteja’s latest flick directed by Udayasankar and produced by D Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions. Anushka is playing the female lead, while Super Star Krishna is playing a key role. KM Radhakrishnan, who gave tunes to ‘Anand, Godavari and Chandamama’ is scoring music for the film. It is learnt that a popular song in ‘Driver Ramudu’ of the late NT Rama Rao, ‘Marumalle Thotakaada Maatiste… Ongole Lock Kaada Aapeste…’ is being remixed for this movie. After the canning of this song, the film unit will leave for abroad to choreograph another song. The producer is making efforts to release the film as a Desara gift.

Producer Suresh Babu is making a film with Ravi Teja and Anushka. Uday Shankar is the director.

Allari Ravi Babu and Suresh Babu are good friends with same wavelength. They together made Anasuya with Bhoomika recently.

Suresh Babu liked Ravi Babu’s style of picturizing the songs and Now Suresh Babu has requested Ravi Babu to film three songs in Ravi Teja’s film.

As for a source, a romantic duet is already canned on Raviteja and Anushka and Anshka was present with glamour queen in the song.

Anushka, Ravi Teja & Sunil are working for a film that is produced by Suresh productions under the direction of Udayshankar ( Kalisundam Raa).

The shoot is progressing on the banks of Godavari River in East Godavari district. There is a scene where Anushka has to push hero Ravi Teja & Sunil in to the Godavari from the banks of Godavari.

So the director selected two dupes for this purpose, and Anushka pushed these two dupes in to the river. But only Sunil dupe came out and Ravi Teja’s dupe washed away in the Godavari floods and it is heard that he was dead. (The dupe name is Mahendra).

The film unit packed up immediately from there.

The people who were watching the shoot brought the entire issue in to the notice of Purishotham Patnam police and Police filed murder case on Anushka. This incident took place today, 16th March.

Ravi Teja and Anushka will now be acting together in the yet-to-be titled film of Uday Shankar for Suresh Productions. K M Radhakrishna will be composing the music for the film.

Uday Shankar had earlier made a film for Suresh Babu and their association had started then. Starting tomorrow, the lead pair will be shooting in Hyderabad as a part of a 90-day schedule.

The first day will be shot at a house in the city, and from day after tomorrow, the shooting will be done at the Nanakramguda Ramanaidu Studios.

The film is likely to be released either in April or May.

The Sankranthi results are out now. Ravi Teja’s Krishna has emerged as the real winner among the Sankranthi releases. It stands at No.1 position, facing stiff competition from three other festival releases. Krishna is a mile ahead from them.

The much-hyped Balakrishna and YVS Chowdhary’s Okka Magadu turned out to be big dud at the box-office. This further helped Krishna which is directed by V V Vinayak. The film was not that hot, prior to release but the tables have turned now with the audiences enjoying its comedy.

Trisha who first time did the glamorous role also played key role in its success. Krishna also became a big rage in overseas that is a first time for a V V Vinayak film. And the big surprise is the rise of Sumanth’s Pourudu. It now stands in second position. Sumanth made in roads into B and C centers with this movie. It netted about Rs 4 Crores of gross in the first week. Yet, in cities it moves on a slow run.

Balakrishna’s Okka Magadu was written off by his fans and as well as general audiences as it lacks content. M S Raju turned director’s Vaana could not show off his magic this time. The film failed to attract the urban youth who have already seen such films in the past. Added to it, the grim climax did not gel with the multiplex audiences.
