Trisha is still the reigning queen of south Indian cinema, as she is the only actress who is balancing her career in both Telugu and Tamil successfully right from the beginning.

Her last release Krishna in Telugu was a super hit and this week she had all the reasons to smile as she celebrated her birthday on May 4 with the release of Kuruvi.

She has withstood pressures and competition and emerged on top due to her hard work and commitment. The lass celebrated her birthday in Christchurch in New Zealand, where she was shooting a song with Prabhas for her forthcoming Puri Jagannath summer special Bujjigadu, Made in Chennai.

You ask her about competition and Trisha is quick to reply, “Like in any other field, there is competition in tinsel world too, just that it’s a little more publicised here due to the glamour attached to it. I think healthy competition is good as it keeps you always on your toes.”

This summer is very special for Trisha. Three of her big films are going to be released in Tamil and Telugu this summer.

Bujjigadu - Made in Chennai, directed by Puri Jagannath is all set to release for this summer (tentative date is on May 16). She is sharing the screen with Prabhas for the third time in this film.
Her Tamil film Kuruvi directed by Dharani, where she acts with Vijay, is her first release (in Tamil) this summer. It all set for worldwide release on May 1 and distributors have already purchased it at a whopping amount. One more Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum will be released in mid-May. She plays the protagonist and Prakash Raj appears as her father in this film. She has lots of hopes on this heroine-centric film.
Interestingly her Telugu film Bujjigadu too has Chennai as the backdrop and one can expect that this film gets huge response in Chennai! On a whole it is triple treat for Trisha fans this summer.

Director P Vasu denied that heroine Trisha and Kamal Haasan are playing guest appearances in his current film (Kucheludu) with superstar Rajnikant. In a statement issued, Vasu made it clear that the news that both the stars are appearing in the film are just a figment of imagination of the media.
The film is currently being shot at Ramoji Film City. Rajinikanth appears in the film as the superstar while Jagapathi Babu does the role of a barber. The film is based on a Malayalam blockbuster Katha Parayumbol.

It seems the heroines are following the rule ‘Make hay while the Sun shines‘. As they could not get many opportunities in films, with the directors and producers looking for new talent and glamour for most of the films, some of the established heroines were concentrating on events like inauguration of shops and other such events. They were demanding payment on the lines of a film for the inauguration of showrooms. As per sources, Trisha demanded Rs 10 lakhs for the inauguration of a cloth shop. The businessmen, who were of the opinion that inauguration by a glamour heroine would fetch them a good business, are worried at the heavy remuneration demanded by these artistes. Let us take a glance at the remuneration being demanded by other stars. Mamata Mohandas demanded Rs 3 lakhs, when she recently inaugurated a saree shop and an electronic showroom. Priyamani, Parvati Melton, Kamna Jethmalani and Kajal were giving their nod for Rs 1 to 2 lakh, while Archana and Madhushalini were saying okay for Rs 50,000. Who will leave the chance to collect such a huge sum, for a few hours of visit to a showroom for its inauguration and a photo session inside the shop, and it has become more profitable for these glam dolls.

Rajinikanth will be launching ‘Bujjigadu - made in Chennai‘ audio on Thursday at a grand function in Andhra Club in Chennai. Puri Jaganath director and producer K S Rama Rao are making this flick with Prabhas and Trisha starring as hero and heroine. Most of shooting of movie was done in Binny Mills and Gnnore areas of Chennai. Mohan Babu is starring for an important role for which music is composed by Sandeep Chowtha.

It would be a great combination if Goa Golden duck Ileana and Chennai andama Trisha work together for NTRjr. That is what director VV Vinayak is planning for his next film with NTRjr.
Kodali Nani and Vamsy are jointly producing the film and the shoot begins by this month end.

Poori Jagannath’s Bujjigadu- made in Chennai music will be released on 18th April in Hyderabad through Aditya music. The film has many specialties;-
