After days of speculation, megastar Chiranjeevi’s family on Saturday kept up the suspense by stating that the actor would make a public announcement of his decision regarding entering politics in one or two months.

The actor’s brother-in-law and well-known producer Allu Aravind announced this at a press conference. On the face of it, Allu Aravind’s press conference was to talk about the Chiranjeevi blood bank but very soon the million dollar question came up: when would Chiranjeevi float his new political party?

“Chiranjeevi quite understands the enthusiasm of the people. There is no confusion in his mind about what he wants to do. He will take a decision in one or two months and publicly announce the same. Chiranjeevi will honour the enthusiasm that people are showing towards his entry into politics,” Allu Aravind said.

From his utterances, it seemed that Allu Aravind wanted the speculation over Chiranjeevi’s possible plunge into public life to continue and at the same time send a message across to the megastar’s fans and supporters not to lose patience.

It was earlier widely expected that Chiranjeevi would get onto the political bandwagon and announce it on Ugadi on April 7. The timing of Allu Aravind’s press conference, in this context, is significant as it come just a couple of days before Ugadi.
