The Income Tax sleuths, led by additional director, investigation, Aparna Rao, conducted raids on prominent film personalities of Tollywood at around 6.30 am. They include Dil Raju, Maheshbabu, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Charmme. It is learnt that the IT officials conducted raids as they did not show proper details about their income and expenditure and also about their properties. It is worth mentioning here that all the above film personalities gave big hits in recent times.

While Dil Raju had hits like ‘Bommarillu’ and ‘Happy Days’, Maheshbabu had notable hit like ‘Pokiri’, SS Rajamouli had produced and directed a blockbuster like ‘Yamadonga’, Vinayak gave a hit through ‘Krishna’ and Charmme had also a hit film in her kitty like ‘Mantra’. Assuming that these films made them wealthy but the film personalities did not show proper accounts about the revenue by making huge investments in real estate deals, the IT officials conducted raids and the investigation continued till the last reports came in.

From his earliest childhood days Director Vinayak was an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi. Vinayak on Sunday at an event in Tuni said that he will support Chiranjeevi if he floats a political party.

Vinayak’s family is not new to politics; his father is a small time leader in Vinayak’s home town Chagallu.

Even in his peak days Vinayak remained loyal admirer to Chiranjeevi and the Megastar also has soft corner for him. Vinayak’s Tagore helped Chiranjeevi to gain a different image in the common public. Vinayak openly expressed his admiration towards Chiranjeevi many a time. Now he has cleared that he will follow Chiranjeevi in whatever path he heads.

On the other hand Chiranjeevi made it clear that he has not yet decided on the next film and also said that he is not discussing on any film right now. That indicates that the “mega entry” is round the corner!

Heroine Nayanatara will be the heroine of NTRjr for the film to be produced by Kodali Nani and directed by VV Vinayak.

NTR is in South Africa for the shoot of his current film Kantri with Hansika Motwani. Vinyak and NTR’s film will begin its shoot as soon as Kantri completes its shoot.

There has been a lot of speculation that VV Vinayak would be doing various projects. While we await the latest updates on other projects, one project is finally confirmed. He will be directing NTR now. Kodali Nani and Vamsi would be producing the film. The heroine will soon be announced. The shooting will begin in summer, immediately after NTR finishes shooting for ‘Kantri’. Vinayak and NTR have already worked in ‘Aadi’.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinayak said ‘I congratulated Poori and Rajamouli when their films Pokiri and Yamadonga were big hits and now they are enjoying my successes.

Vinayak says ‘Rajamouli’s entire family celebrated my Krishna success. Rajamouli’s home looks like a Bommarillu, we don’t find the difference between friends and family members there. Every one of Rajamouli’s family mingles and behaves like family members with friends. I feel like sitting at Rajamouli’s Bommarillu when ever I am feel dull mood. I can’t explain, but I get some peace of mind when ever I sit at Rajamouli’s residence’.

Vinayak thanked Rajamouli and Poori and wished success to those director friends for their future projects.

NTR and VV Vinayak have delivered two films Aadi and Sambha earlier. The same Sambha producer Kodali Naani is coming up to make another film with VV Vinayak and NTR. The film will go on floors from 28^th April and hit the screens for 2009 Sankranthi.

It is not going to be the remake of Yugandhar. Vinayak himself penning the script and Aakula Siva will pen the dialogues.

NTR is busy with his Kanthri shoot and Vinayak is enjoying the success of his Krishna – the power of Indrakeeladri.

Parachuri brothers are busy finalizing the details of the story for Chiranjeevi’s new film. By all indications, it is VV Vinayak who is most likely to direct Chiranjeevi for his 149th film.

According to reliable information, the story of the film goes like this. Chiranjeevi is a college student. He is a sincere student. He cuts his teeth in student politics by taking part in college elections.

Later on circumstances force him to take a plunge into active politics. He launches his own political party and takes the state by storm. The hero naturally wins the ensuing general elections with an overwhelming majority and becomes the chief minister of the state!

Telugu film industry is ready to get its very own Don, remake of the original one. Word has it that producer Kodali Nani and director V.V.Vinayak are working on the script of the original Don movie, the Hindi film that starred Amitab Bachchan, to suit it to the local tastes. And it is Jr NTR who is being considered to play the role of the very suave bad guy. Whether NTR will play a full fledged negative role for the first time or not is yet to be decided. Presently the actor is busy with producer Aswini Dutt’s Meher Ramesh directed Kantri. Other details of the film are yet to be announced.

As for a film nagar sources, story discussions are in full swing for Chiru’s next film. It would be a message oriented film with political backdrop as the film is coming up amidst Megastar’s political entry.

As for a source, VV Vinayak will direct the film, Paruchuri Brothers are penning the script, Chota K Naidu will handle the camera and Manisharma is composing the music.

And Adhinaayakudu title is in consideration for this film.
